I am Spot, and who is Spot? I'm a member of a rather new group called New age and I do some graphics and enjoy the scene in many ways as I guess most of you guys out there do. I live in Sweden and I am rather happy with that. So now you know me and it's time to introduce Lena, (she decided to leave her last name out of this). Lena is my closest friend's mother and that's the way I got to know her. One day when I and Fredrik (my best friend) started to talk about unnatural things like UFO:s and such things, he suddenly told me that his mother had encountered a UFO, and later on I decided to do this little interview with her.

\3In autumn 1978 I was 29 years old and in the afternoon I was parking my car outside our house on a high hill in a suburb south of Gothenburg, Sweden. I was four month pregnant with my second son (my friend Fredrik /Spot) at that time. The sun was setting in a western direction and in the light but above the misty sun itself, I saw a black oblong object high above the houses and the shopping centre at another suburb downhill. Further off I could see the Atlantic at the west coast of Sweden.
The black object looked like a fighter aircraft and at first I thought that was what it was. The problem was that the object was standing completely still in the air like in a picture. To my knowledge the Swedish Airforce had no vertoles then and still doesn't. That fact made me start to observe it. After a while it moved slowly sideways, i.e. all the time it showed its side and at the same time came closer to me and stopped again.
At first I thought that the object was fairly small and close but now I realized that it was really big and far away because although it had moved for maybe a minute it didn't grow very much in size. Then it stopped again for a while and now I got a somewhat physical sensation of its presence and at the same time there was a sonic sensation. My ears heard something that really wasn't audible. It wasn't a sound but still I heard it.
Suddenly the object moved to the north in a tremendous speed and stopped again after approximately two seconds. There it placed itself in its previous state, i.e. a total stop in the air. After a while it slowly started swagging back and forth from east to west for about one minute as if searching for something. For a short while I got worried and had a feeling that it might have seen me but then the object moved to the south in the same fast speed as when going north. And once again it made a complete stop. After a couple of minutes it started to move northwest in a wide bow, at first at low speed and then increasing the speed back to the tremendous speed it had had before. After a second it had turned into a black spot and then disappeared.
The object was raven black and gave no reflections whatsoever. Its forms were slim but not sharp. At the front pointing north it had some kind of windows. They were triangular, blank and shining. At the end it had a triangular wing in vertical position. The object never changed its vertical position. The whole event lasted about 15 minutes and all the time the object had its front to the north and tail to the south, no matter in what direction it was going - except at its last acceleration when it turned the front northwest and at the same time turned into a spot. Five minutes later the sun was below the horizon for the day.
When my husband came home in the evening I told him about the object. He was, at the time doing scientific research and I wanted him to assure me that the object had a good natural explanation. He asked me a few questions and then said that he had no other explanation than that I had seen a UFO. I told him to stop joking but he said that he meant every word.
